and their inability to get it right even 50% of the time….
I mean, they TRY. But they either underestimate the speed of the jetstream, or overestimate the effect of a stationary high or cut-off low….
So today, we have no clouds, no snow, bright sun, and COLD…. instead of the opposite. *shrug* Doesn’t necessarily matter, but you’d think they could get it right at least half the time, wouldn’t you?

thankfully! Apparently, we should see snow for around the next five days. Now if the idiots who live in Enterprise would learn how to drive AND SLOW DOWN, so they don’t have rollovers that our EMTs have to go take care of….
Yeah right. Never happen.

is possible, I find – I emailed them regarding this. They “only” want $6.95 PLUS $2.00 shipping/handling AND it will take 8-10 weeks slow-boat-to-China mail…. *sigh*
So yeah, I’ll most likely go ahead and order it. AND I will be putting up a suggestion that they either make the recipe database searchable by issue date, OR they put up the entire issue the following month, available only to subscribers….

In this day and age, I simply assume EVERYTHING can be found online. And in most cases, that’s entirely true. However…. the fully January 2010 issue of Martha Stewart Living CANNOT be found on the site.
Why is this a problem? Because that issue had recipes in it I wanted, but didn’t have the dentist’s office copy even though they offered…. I didn’t have them copied because I figured the entire magazine would be online. I had resubscribed recently, so I thought if my subscription didn’t start with January (it didn’t….) I could log in to the site, and find it that way.
No. *sigh*
