I'm having the same sort of problem (only in reverse) with BOTH of my children this year. Neither of them wants anything for Christmas. Well, the older one wants an $1,800 guitar, but we're not going there. What say we skip Christmas and move on to Valentine's Day or Easter, make some cookies and be done with it? Lots of luck.
