(that is, the WindowsLiveWriter) is a strong “two thumbs up”! I love it, I’ve got it set for all my blogs which means I post more, which means that the content is fresher and therefore the search engines should be happier.
Win, win, win!
Had a report on the support forum that wp refused to post the word biopsy….
However, as you can see, it works just fine here.
My friend Nicki (Nitallica) from Now We’re Cookin’, has set up a webring for those of us using WP! Ain’t it cool?
There was a lot of hoohah about this a while back, then it turned out that the “promoter” kcyap was “promoting” himself a bunch of goodies apparently. So this year’s contest seemed to be down the drain. And too bad too, because the previous year’s contests have provided a huge amount of luscious themes (as well, it must be said, as some truly dreadful ones!)
However, kineda (Terry Ng), who’s been a long-time supporter of WP and helps out when he has time on the support forum, has set up WordPress Arena and is now hosting a “real” competition.
I have plans to submit a theme. And I certainly hope many others will as well! It’s really great to see someone step forward to try to put things right after a mess like kcyap made….
More power to you, Terry!
which I haven’t installed - I may use it on a different blog… Ex Machina seems to be a more likely candidate for that I think….
“Bushisms” from Wastedwords.org - I don’t care whether you’re conservative or liberal, you know what’s really scary - not the fact that there are “Bushisms” to begin with, but the fact that there are SO MANY of them that there can actually be a different one for EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR!
has turned into a PITA to template - something added to or subtracted from core code by WordPress’s dev team is making it almost impossible to generate clean, valid sidebar code.
kickass is working on it, and should she be able to come up with a real validating template structure, be sure I’ll report it here!
