P O V – Point Of View

…or not….

This quandry points up my entire ambivalence about the “process” of the holiday season.  In order to have amaryllis in bloom at Christmas, I have to buy the bulb packages at least in early November.  Now, retailers of course put out Christmas stuff beginning on All Hallows (well, okay – halfway through October any more….) but I simply am not going to “see” Christmas preparations until the first of December.

This means that I must consciously think to look for amaryllis a month before I normally start Christmas-ing.  *sigh*  I don’t want to do it.  Christmas belongs in December.

Except for amaryllis….
