Javascript, input forms, and site manager stupidity

We bought a Fellowes shredder. In trying to use their registration page online, I found the following:

Only some of the options worked;
The option to choose “Shredders” NEVER worked;
I could “fool” the site into giving me the Shredders form by using one of the other forms and inserting the appropriate [...]
