So far, the verdict on this "toytool"
(that is, the WindowsLiveWriter) is a strong “two thumbs up”! I love it, I’ve got it set for all my blogs which means I post more, which means that the content is fresher and therefore the search engines should be happier.
Win, win, win!

I like it (actually posted about it on my blog, as well) but it has a few goofy bugs, and I don’t like how it formats text when I post. I think it can be incredibly useful though. I’m just going to wait before using it extensively until the next beta or two comes out.
August 23rd, 2006 at 3:44 pmWell, if you’re a Firefox user, you might be happier with the Performancing extension. Get it at https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1730/ - it’s actually much better than the WLW (which I will keep to use when forced to deal with IE).
