Wordpress.com
I acquired a wp.com blog, to use as a test because so many people are posting about problems with same on wp.org/support. It’s a “disabled” version of a real wp blog - no theme or plugin functionality, but as opposed to some of the posts on .org/support lately, I haven’t had any trouble at all with it functionality-wise. Works just fine….
However. The real bottom line is a fairly scary thing: anything you post is totally public. If you post on one of the linked-from-dashboard blogs, or any other wp.com blog, ANYONE IN THE WORLD can read what you post AND they will be able to follow you “home”!
Anonymous has no meaning at wp.com. Sorry, but that’s a very very scary situation. I’d be willing to bet that I won’t use it much longer - because I don’t want stalkers following me home….
