P O V - Point Of View 

The latest round in the government’s attempts to micromanage time will begin next spring. NOW they want us to have SIX GODDAMN MONTHS of that left-over piece of shit DST.

Well, guess what gov’y-baby? I ain’t playin’ your game ANY LONGER. DST does NOT save ANYTHING: not time, not money, not oil, not electricity.

So I’m not going there. I’ll just stay on “real” time from now on. I’m perfectly capable of adjusting to others’ idiotic inability to tell the feds NO and make it stick (the way AZ has for so many years, btw - and one county in NV….)

for this year THANK THE GODDESS. It was NOT a pleasant couple of months. It was scary enough that I have a list of the ten things to grab besides us and the animals….

The odd thing is that this was a wet year. But what that does of course is make the junegrass (aka “cheat grass” - because it is good for absolutely NOTHING, not even feed) grow gangbusters, and the reason it’s known as “junegrass” is because by late June it’s dry tinder…. so we had a ton of fuel….
