Blogs and Imagination

Sunday, June 19th, 2005

I’ve had various people ask why I need four blogs. The easy answer is, of course, “because I can, and they’re fun to play with.”

However, the REAL answer is a bit more complex: yes, they’re fun to play with; also, they give my selection of “alter egos” places of their own to allow imagination its free rein without constraint by other posting styles or the constriction of set categories….

In the long run though, it doesn’t matter what I tell people - unless they are themselves into the machine/internet world and/or blogs, they just don’t get it. Oh well - too bad for them!

Travels - and the fallout thereof ~

Thursday, June 16th, 2005

Well, I got NOTHING written while we were gone. Family visits are difficult in many ways, and there was a lot of stuff going on which rather drained me of energy.

So I finished my latest tileset saga section and posted it today, which means I won’t be on tap for a couple of weeks. Hopefully (now that the appliances and the horses are taken care of) I can reframe my mental attitudes into working on “Caravan to Kethabey”….
